Men’s Sexy Short Summer Styles

Summer is busy enough without worrying about whether or not your hair is holding up. This summer, men are taking things shorter so that they can shift their focus to getting busy in other parts of their lives. Here are some ideas inspired by Esquire to help you get your hair under control, too.
Beginning on the lowest maintenance end of the spectrum, the easiest way to go this summer is with a buzz cut. This isn’t a cut for the faint of heart, but if you have the gumption to pull it off, it’ll be a big hit. If the overall buzz seems like a bridge too far, consider a skin fade instead. It leaves a bit of length on top but the sides will be as short as you dare to go.
A good in between style that’s neither too short nor too complicated is a high and tight with about an inch or so of length on top. It works with just about any shape of face or type of hair, and all it needs is a towel dry with a bit of matte pomade to keep it in line. Leave the top even longer if you have a square shaped face, and use a bit more pomade to style it. If you’re worried about a receding hair line, keep the back short and leave the length in the front.
For those with thick or curly hair, you have great options too. Thick, wavy hair will come into its own with some simple layers on top and close sides. Add some strong hold product to add texture and keep it in line. Consider styling it with a side part swoop for a debonair look. If you’re blessed with uber thick, uber wavy hair you’ll want to keep the length on top to a minimum, something in the range of an inch to an inch and a half with a fade on the sides. It will stay in shape with little or no encouragement.
